Forwarding Address
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 28, 2026
The service
Forwarding Address wins back lapsed Shopify customers by sending win-back emails and printed mail pieces on your store’s behalf, under rules you configure. By installing the app you agree to these terms on behalf of your store.
Billing
All charges run through Shopify’s billing system and appear on your Shopify invoice: your plan’s recurring fee (the Starter plan has none) and a per-mailer usage charge for mail pieces beyond your plan’s included volume, at the rate shown on the pricing page and on the Shopify approval screen. Usage charges are capped at the monthly spend limit you approve and can be adjusted in the app. Plans can be changed or cancelled at any time from the app or by uninstalling; Shopify’s refund conventions apply to subscription fees. Charges for mail pieces already handed to the postal service are not refundable.
Your responsibilities
- You are the controller of your customers’ data and are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact them. The app sends win-back email only to customers whose Shopify marketing consent is subscribed, and you are responsible for honouring opt-out and erasure requests.
- The postcard return address you configure must be an address you are entitled to use. Postcards are not sent until you set one.
- You will not use the service to send unlawful, deceptive, or abusive content, or for any purpose other than contacting your own store’s past customers.
Service limits
Mail delivery is available for United States addresses. Delivery of email and physical mail depends on third-party providers and postal carriers; we do not guarantee delivery times or win-back outcomes. Won-back-revenue figures in the dashboard are attributions based on link activity and order timing, provided for reporting.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us through Shopify in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue from customers who did not return.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app, which revokes our access to your store. We may suspend or end service for breach of these terms or abuse of the service. Data handling on termination is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be noted by the date above. Questions: benjaminfingram@gmail.com.
